The Myth of Israeli Apartheid
In collaboration with Chizuk Amuno Congregation, the Baltimore Zionist District and Together Vouch for Each Other U.S. present an intimate cocktail reception followed by a unique discussion on the myth of Israeli apartheid.

In the wake of the recent Amnesty International Report accusing Israel of apartheid, The BZD has undertaken a concerted effort to debunk this libel as part of our mission to educate the community and fight the media bias against the State of Israel.
On Wednesday, April 6, at 7:30 PM, join us for a fascinating conversation and fundraiser featuring Israeli and Israeli Arab activists of Together Vouch for Each Other U.S., Yoseph Haddad, Emily Schrader, Ahmed Zoabi, and Lorena Khateeb, who will refute the "Israeli apartheid" libel and the Amnesty International Report.

Before our program, we invite you to join us for a VIP cocktail reception and have the opportunity to meet our speakers for a more in-depth conversation and the time to engage with the diverse delegation visiting from Israel personally. VIP ticket holders will have access to reserved sitting.

Yoseph Haddad is an Israeli Arab activist, lecturer, journalist, and the CEO of Arab-Israeli organization Together Vouch for Each Other. Originally from Nazareth, Yoseph volunteered for the IDF at age 18 and served as a commander in Golani. He was badly injured in the Second Lebanon War and as a result of his remarkable recovery, decided to dedicate his life to educating about Israel and bridging gaps in Israeli society. Emily Schrader is the chief marketing and communications officer of Together Vouch for Each Other US. She is the CEO of digital marketing company Social Lite Creative, a regular columnist at the Jerusalem Post, and the host of the TV show Headlines with the Haddads. Her work on combating online antisemitism was instrumental in prohibiting Holocaust denial on social media platforms. Follow her at @emilykschrader on Twitter and @emilyintelaviv on Instagram.

Youth leadership manager at the Israel Ministry of Education and Education Coordinator at Together Vouch for Each Other.
Lorena Khateeb, a member of Israel’s Druze minority, runs social media operations in Arabic for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the wake of the historic peace agreement in 2020 between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Khateeb has become the link between Israelis and Emiratis across several social media networks. Describing the peace agreement as her “dream,” Khateeb told an Arab news agency in an extensive interview that “the first thing I thought was about that the people who contact us will no longer be afraid to make their voices heard, and that they will finally be able to get to know the true face of Israel." She added: “I hope that the brave move of the UAE and its leaders will be an opening for more agreements. Peace is our solution and goal for a better future and world.”
